The 2011 Season Comes To An End
November 23, 2011The 2011 racing season has come to a close but the work does not necessarily stop. The entire 32b team ended the year on a high note making the 44th annual Western World Classic “A feature” for the first time in 3 attempts. The point championship did not end up the way we planned going into the year, but our spirits are up heading into 2012. With a year of “how did that happen” and “I have never seen anything like that before” haunting us most of the season we are happy to even end up in the 11 position in the championship. As for now its time to regroup keep the positive thoughts and get through the great holiday season with friends and family. I wonder if Santa Clause can drop off a little luck under the Christmas tree this year?
The Monday following the Western World the shop lights were on as Kyle and I with the supervision of Bernie and Randy pulled the AEC 360 from the car to take it to Paul for an off season overhaul. This break in the year is going to consist of inventory, cleaning, repairs, and more organization. The 2012 race season is going to approach us quickly and we will be ready! The Canyon Region ASCS series has not been posted but in the meantime a winter series has been scheduled at Canyon Raceway. The dates for the Winter Clash are January 27, 28, 29, February 1, 3, and 4th. That’s right, 6 races 10 days! GITTY UP!
Again if it was not for the million man-hours put in by Kyle Danielson, and the support from the great partners like Bernie Weber from Weber Group, Randy Coffin from Coffin and Trout Fine Jewellers, Chuck, Leslie, and Kyle Danielson with Invision Auto Body this dream would not come true. Throughout the year there were a lot of people that helped out like Brian Schmaltz, Robert Hosford, and Bob Ream Jr. Thank you guys for your time and the hard work you put forth.
Until next time everyone have a great Thanksgiving and a Merry Christmas!
Thanks,
Brian Hosford
